| Description | This website gives excellent step-by-step directions for creating a timeline in Excel. I have adapted it somewhat and created a template so that those less savy in using Excel may have the benefit of using a timeline. Instead of scanning anything later, I just saved the template as a web page in Excel. When editing from the web, go to File/edit in Microsoft Excel on your browser, save the file to your hard drive, make any changes, then save as a web page to your hardrive and post it to your site.
